Freight Charges
Does Office Horizons charge freight? |
|
It depends. Certain large items carry freight charges if they cannot be shipped via local carrier (i.e. UPS, FedEX, DHL). If you are wondering if a bulky item carries freight charges, please contact us or request a quote online via the item's product page.

Ordering
Why don't I see a shipping charge when I place my order with a credit card? |
|
In many cases, larger items ship free to your dock. We search to find the best shipping method for our customers. Since we are dealing with bulky furniture items, shipping and freight can be complicated. To ensure the greatest savings, we calculate shipping after you place an order. When we find the safest and most economical shipping method, we will email you to confirm the charges and ultimately approve the order for processing. NOTE THAT YOUR CREDIT CARD IS NOT CHARGED UNTIL YOU APPROVE THE ORDER.

| Can I have Office Horizons install or assemble my order? |
|
Yes. For Massachusetts area customers we will personally install or assemble your product (subject to additional charge). For national customers, we will place you in contact with a local install company who will assist you with installation and/or assembly (subject to additional charge). IF YOU REQUIRE INSTALLATION OR ASSEMBLY, YOU MUST SPECIFY THIS IN THE "SPECIAL REQUESTS" BOX ON THE CHECKOUT PAGE.

| Can you walk me through the checkout process? |
|
Once an item is added to your cart and you press the checkout button, you will need to login to your account (returning customers) or create a new account (new customers). If you are a returning customer, all of your personal and billing information from your last order will appear. At this stage you may modify your shipping address or contact information, if need be, or use a different credit card during the checkout process. If you are a new customer, we require you to enter your shipping and billing information prior to the order confirmation page. Once you press the "Complete Order" button, the request is sent to us and we will provide shipping, installation, set-up, or pickup instructions/charges (if applicable) based on any special request you entered in the "Special Request" box. AT THIS POINT YOUR CREDIT CARD HAS NOT BEEN CHARGED. You will then receive an email notification indicating that we've updated the order with any necessary shipping, installation, delivery, or set-up charges and that the order needs final approval from you. Once you approve the order, your credit card is charged for the full amount of the order.

Can I personally pick-up my product from Office Horizons? |
|
Yes. After you place your order online having entered "Customer Pick-up" in the "Special Requests" box on the check-out page, your item(s) will be available for pick-up at Office Horizons (see map) during regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM). We ask that you call us and make an appointment for pick-up, to ensure that someone will be available to assist you. You will be notified when your items are ready for pickup.

| Is there a charge if I pick-up my item(s) at Office Horizons? |
|
In most cases, no, it is free. However, for bulky pieces we reserve the right to apply a handling or stocking charge that you must approve before your order can be processed.

| How much does it cost to have my product set-up & assembled? |
|
Prices vary. In most cases, we charge a flat rate of $50-$100. Carry-ups of bulky/heavy items require an additional charge of $200. These prices are for reference only. All pricing is subject to change at any time without notice. Again, please specify any assembly, delivery, and/or set-up requirements in the "Special Requests" box before placing an order and we will provide accurate, up-to-date pricing. As always, if you have a question about these charges, call us anytime.

| Does Office Horizons deliver? |
|
Yes. Our delivery truck is equipped with professional blankets and tie-downs to protect your furniture in-transit. Additional charges apply for delivery.

How come the URL changes to https://www.structuredweb.com when I place an order?
|
|
StructuredWeb is our website host and provider. The SSL Certificate is issued through them. Unfortunately we do not have the ability to use our own SSL at this time. We ensure that all transactions are secure. Credit card orders are kept confidential through Authorize.net. We do not have access to credit card numbers and orders are processed in real time, generally taking 3 seconds.
